• Pass a Criminal Background Check & Driver Abstract Review
• Pass a Functional Assessment 
  • This is scheduled by Pierce Transit
• Pass a Physical Assessment & Drug Screen
• This is scheduled by Pierce Transit.  If you currently hold a valid DOT medical card, you may be able to skip the physical assessment portion.
• Send a Picture (front & back) of your Driver's License to jobs@piercetransit.org
• Obtain a Class B Commercial Learner's Permit with Passenger & Airbrake Endorsements 
  • This is something you will be responsible for completing through the Department of Licensing (DOL).  An appointment may need to be scheduled through dol.wa.gov.

Once you start your job with us, we will ask you to fill out a Form I-9. We use the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify program to check your information. It is an online system to prove your identity and whether you can work in the United States.
